- Exploration of digital technologies in Higher Education: teacher’s perspectivesPublication . Rodrigues, Maria Rosário; Ferreira, Elsa; Oliveira Pires, Ana Luisa; Baía, Mário BarrosoThis study was developed under an ERASMUS + KA2 project started in December 2018 and developed by four H.E. institutions. In a first stage, it aims to understand the H.E. teachers learning environment, the access of teachers to technology, their perceptions and use of digital resources for teaching and learning. With this aim, a survey was carried out to teachers of higher education in Germany, Poland, Portugal and Slovenia, with 88 replies being obtained. Data analysis shows the teachers' recognition of the growing importance of ICT, and also the lack of knowledge of some of these technologies.
- Transforming pedagogy in higher educationPublication . Oliveira Pires, Ana Luisa; Rodrigues, Maria Rosário; Pessoa, Ana MariaIn this article we present some reflections of the ongoing research, developed within the scope of the EEP project — Empowering ePortfolio Process. We discuss some central ideas that emerged from the study focused on the students’ experiences and perspectives of ePortfolios, developed at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setubal. We discuss its preliminary results broadening the focus to its implications to Higher Education pedagogy and to the development of students’ transformative capabilities — autonomy, reflexivity, critical thought, creativity and cooperation, amongst others. We highlight the ePortfolio contribution, as an epistemic framework, to the HE pedagogical transformation.

- Learning provided by the transformation of a written text into a multimedia textPublication . Rodrigues, Maria Rosário; Pinto, Paulo FeytorThis paper is a critical reflection about teaching practices of two professors responsible for the teaching of Portuguese Language and Information and Communications Technology, a subject of the degree in Elementary Education. The reflection is based on results collected through participant observation during lessons with two classes, through the final individual reflections written by all students of both classes, through three tasks produced by some students and, finally, through interviews with these students. The set of activities under consideration were intended to develop the competence of narrative writing and of a multimedia text production. It was found, however, that new more relevant learning has taken place in other areas: the production of the script, a tool that transforms the written text into a multimedia text, and the recording of planned speaking by children who collaborated in the creation of the PhotoStory.

- Three perspectives & a projectPublication . Silvestre, Ana Goes; Pólvora, Diana; Wergikosky, Márcia; Rodrigues, Maria Rosário"Three Perspectives & A Project: a real group work is the name of a project created by three students of the Master's Degree in Teaching in the 1'1 and 2nd Cycles of Basic Education of the Setubal College of Education which had as its main goal the sharing of ideas, feelings, thoughts and work methods as teachers in training. Our idea focused on the potential of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and how we could mobilize it to improve our educational practice. The sharing of ideas has been a constant, allowing for great interaction, trust and unity among us. Initially, it was intended that the project be extended to other people. However, along the way, the project objectives changed due to various factors, leading to the project being placed on hold. Nonetheless, nothing was in vain, as the central achievement was, in fact, the discovery of the true value of group work.
