Abstract(s)
Este trabalho pretende analisar como os trabalhadores e as adolescentes a residir em duas casas de acolhimento, uma situada na Grande Lisboa e outra no Alto Alentejo, se adaptaram ao confinamento resultante da pandemia associada à doença COVID19. Com isto, e para entender esta adaptação, jovens e funcionários foram questionados sobre a primeira fase de confinamento da COVID19, recolhendo-se, assim, informação das vivências passadas nas casas de acolhimento em questão.
Estes dois estudos tiveram como principais objetivos a análise e a comparação de como os utentes e trabalhadores de duas casas de acolhimento reagiram a esta pandemia, bem como a avaliação de aspetos como a educação e o bem-estar das utentes.
Para a realização deste trabalho foram elaborados e utilizados questionários, entrevistas, e notas de campo, enquanto técnicas de recolha de dados. Na casa de acolhimento residencial situada na Grande Lisboa, cujos dados estão descritos e tratados no estudo 1, participaram trinta e seis jovens do sexo feminino e seis funcionários, enquanto na casa de acolhimento residencial localizada no Alto Alentejo, cujos dados estão descritos e tratados no estudo 2, participaram cinco jovens do sexo feminino e cinco funcionários. Assim sendo, foram alvo deste estudo quarenta e um jovens e onze funcionários.
Verificou-se, através deste estudo, que cada jovem reagiu de forma diferente quer no que respeita seus sentimentos, face à escola, bem como nas suas relações e formas de se expressar, e que cada casa de acolhimento geriu de forma diferente, sempre com o grande objetivo de combater as dificuldades e problemas que as suas jovens têm, para proporcionar o melhor crescimento e futuro possível.
Durante o primeiro confinamento, a maioria das jovens e dos adultos deste estudo sentiram privação da liberdade, ansiedade, e medo pelo futuro. No entanto, constatou-se em ambas as instituições, que esta pandemia trouxe, igualmente, diversas aprendizagens, tais como uma maior valorização dos cuidados de higiene, do relacionamento com certas pessoas e de pequenos momentos nas suas vidas. As jovens apresentaram, também, dificuldades com as aprendizagens escolares, mas estas já existiam antes do confinamento.
This work aims to analyze how workers and adolescents living in two shelters, one located in Greater Lisbon and the other in Alto Alentejo, adapted to the confinement resulting from the pandemic associated with the COVID19 disease. With this, and to understand this adaptation, young people and employees were asked about the first phase of confinement of COVID19, as well as about the experiences they had in the shelters in question. These two studies had as main objectives the analysis and comparison of how the users and workers of two shelters reacted to this pandemic, as well as the evaluation of aspects such as the education and well-being of the users. To carry out this work, questionnaires, interviews, and field notes were developed and used as data collection techniques. In the residential shelter located in Greater Lisbon, whose data are described and treated in study 1, thirty-six young women and six employees participated, while in the residential shelter located in Alto Alentejo, whose data are described and treated in study 2, five young females and five employees participated. Therefore, forty-one young people and eleven employees were the target of this study. It was found, through this study, that each young person reacted differently, both in terms of their feelings towards the school, as well as in their relationships and ways of expressing themselves, and that each shelter managed differently, always with the great objective of combating the difficulties and problems that its young people have, to provide the best possible growth and future. During the first confinement, most young women and adults in this study felt deprivation of liberty, anxiety, and fear for the future. However, it was found in both institutions that this pandemic also brought several learnings, such as a greater appreciation of hygiene care and a greater appreciation of the relationship with certain people, and of small moments in their lives. The young women also presented difficulties with school learning, but these already existed before the confinement.
