dc.description.abstract	Esta investigação, realizada no âmbito do Curso de Mestrado em Necessidades Educativas Especiais, teve como objectivo estudar a Cultura de Escola como facilitadora à Inclusão dos alunos com Perturbação do Espectro Autista das Escolas Básicas do 1º Ciclo com Unidades de Ensino Estruturado/Salas Teacch. Ao falar de Inclusão da criança com Perturbação do Espectro Autista, temos consciência que a ênfase baseia-se na forma de aprender meios de comunicar, formas de estruturar o ambiente educativo de maneira a que o ensino destes alunos seja o mais estruturado e previsível. O ensino eficaz implica que a Cultura de Escola tenha especial atenção aos comportamentos, às atitudes, aos alunos, docentes e famílias, bem como às expectativas claras das regras educativas. As dificuldades do processo de aprendizagem são apresentadas de forma a poderem ser ultrapassadas, tendo em conta não só os espaços físicos mas também a interacção de todos aqueles que rodeiam os alunos com Perturbação do Espectro Autista, sejam professores, alunos de ensino regular ou familiares. Este trabalho foi dividido em duas partes distintas. Na Primeira Parte foi efectuada uma revisão teórica, que serviu de base para fundamentar o tema e a partir do qual foi desenvolvido o estudo prático. Na Segunda Parte, o Marco Metodológico, avaliou-se a Cultura de Escola e a inclusão dos alunos com Perturbação do Espectro Autista através da aplicação do questionário Index for Inclusion – Developing Learning Participation in School (2000). Os resultados do estudo, indicaram que a Cultura de Escola se apresenta como facilitadora ao processo de inclusão dos alunos com Perturbação do Espectro Autista em Escolas Básicas do 1º Ciclo com Unidades de Ensino Estruturado/Salas Teacch.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	The aim of this investigation concerning the Master of Special Education Needs was to find out whether the School Culture is making easier the way of including students with Autism in Primary Schools which have rooms where the Teacch Method is implemented. When we talk about inclusion of children with Autism, we are aware of that the focus is based on the way of learning communicating methods, as well as structuring the learning environment of these students in such a way that their teaching method is as structured and predictable as it can be. An effective teaching implies that both teacher and School Culture are attentive to the behaviours and also to the expectations of teaching the rules, which must be clear. The difficulties of the teaching process are presented and they might be overcome. That depends not only on the physical spaces but also on the interaction among those who deal with students with Autism, i.e., teachers, other students as well as their families. The work here presented was divided into two different parts. In the first one a theoretical revision was done and this was the basis of the theme of the investigation, in which the study was developed. In the second part the School Culture was evaluated through the application of Index for Inclusion Survey – Developing Learning Participation (2000). The results of this study denote that the School Culture presents itself as something which facilitates the process of inclusion of students with Autism in Primary Schools which have rooms where the Teacch Method is implemented.	pt_PT
