| dc.description.abstract | O presente Projeto, intitulado “Tu tens o SUPERPODER de fazer a diferença!”, foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Intervenção Social na Infância e Juventude em Risco de Exclusão Social e centra-se na problemática do bullying no contexto escolar. A investigação adotou uma metodologia qualitativa, de natureza exploratória e interventiva, baseada no modelo de investigação-ação. A intervenção foi implementada em dois contextos distintos. Posteriormente, para a recolha de dados, utilizaram-se técnicas como a observação participante, entrevistas semiestruturadas, questionários de resposta aberta e análise de conversas informais. O projeto centrou-se na sensibilização e capacitação dos alunos, com especial enfoque no papel das testemunhas (observadores) como elemento determinante para interromper o ciclo de vitimização. As atividades desenvolvidas incluíram sessões de sensibilização e várias oficinas temáticas com diferentes metodologias. Os resultados pós-intervenção evidenciaram mudanças nas perceções e nos discursos das crianças relativamente ao fenómeno, traduzidas numa maior clareza conceptual, no desenvolvimento da empatia e no reconhecimento do papel das testemunhas na prevenção da violência entre pares. Observou-se igualmente um aumento da reflexão crítica e da responsabilização coletiva, bem como o surgimento de propostas de intervenção e de atitudes mais assertivas perante situações de injustiça e de exclusão social. Em conclusão, o estudo reforça a importância de metodologias participativas que coloquem a criança no centro da solução, demonstrando que a mobilização do grupo de pares é uma estratégia eficaz para prevenir a violência escolar e promover ambientes educativos mais seguros e inclusivos. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This project, entitled “You Have the SUPERPOWER to Make a Difference!”, was developed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Social Intervention in Childhood and Youth at Risk of Social Exclusion, and focuses on the issue of bullying in the school context. The research adopted a qualitative methodology, both exploratory and interventionist in nature, based on the action-research model. The intervention was implemented in two distinct settings. For data collection, techniques such as participant observation, semi-structured interviews, open-ended questionnaires, and informal conversation analysis were employed. The project focused on raising awareness and empowering students, with particular emphasis on the role of bystanders as key agents in interrupting the cycle of victimization. The activities included awareness-raising sessions and various thematic workshops using diverse methodologies. Post-intervention results revealed changes in children's perceptions and discourse regarding the phenomenon, reflected in greater conceptual clarity, the development of empathy, and the recognition of the role of bystanders in preventing peer violence. There was also an increase in critical reflection and collective accountability, as well as the emergence of intervention proposals and more assertive attitudes in the face of injustice and social exclusion. In conclusion, the study reinforces the importance of participatory methodologies that place the child at the center of the solution, demonstrating that mobilizing the peer group is an effective strategy for preventing school violence and promoting safer and more inclusive educational environments. | por |
