Abstract(s)
desconhece as necessidades do idoso.
cuidar deste.

Most patients (37.5%) is part of an extended family, while 27.5% belongs to a traditional nuclear family. As for the stage of the life cycle, nearly half of patients are living in the moment of family life cycle on the departure of one of the spouses (44%) and 37% live on the departure of children. In summary, we found that the high acceptance by the family is associated with this lifecycle. Regarding the type of perceived family by family, this presents no statistically significant association with high acceptance. The family structure of the elderly remains the mainstay in the care of this.
