Abstract(s)
O estágio foi uma experiência que permitiu estabelecer uma estreita relação
com a realidade, neste caso, com adolescentes em risco de exclusão social
num Lar de acolhimento residencial. Este é um relatório que mostra a
possibilidade de participar numa engrenagem em que o objetivo foi oferecer ou
construir ferramentas que esses jovens pudessem usar para repensar as suas
vidas e viver uma ressocialização.
A minha abordagem aos rapazes foi assente no interesse e escuta ativa a fim
de construir relacionamentos baseados na confiança. Foi a mesma estratégia
usada com os técnicos e educadores.
O exposto acima visou formar uma equipa de trabalho com aqueles que já
estavam imersos nessa realidade e que já, nas suas próprias trincheiras, se
ofereciam como figuras de referência (conscientes ou não). O objetivo comum
era conter e promover uma mudança significativa nesses adolescentes que
pudesse ser sustentada ao longo do tempo.
Este trabalho destaca o desafio de ser paciente para poder tecer relações de
confiança e fazer apostas sustentadas no desejo genuíno de ajudar e trabalhar
em conjunto, para consolidar uma estrutura capaz de apoiar esses rapazes em
momentos de mudança.
This professional practice was an experience that allowed me to take a closer look at what adolescents at risk of social exclusion- hosted in a foster care residential home- go through every day. Their true reality captured on the spot. This report shows my work with them, where I intended to teach them different strategies that would help them rebuild their lives and be reunited with society. In my approach, I tried to show honest interest in their questions, doubts and situations while trying to practice active listening to build relationships based on trust. I used the same strategy with professionals and educators working at the health center, to build team work and a close work relationships which are both key to success in this environment. Some of the people working there were already invested and acting as key figures to these teenagers, for reaching personal growth and wellbeing. Our objective was to support and foster change in a way that could have a positive impact in their lives. This work emphasizes the challenge of (re) building relationships based on trust and how that takes time, patience and hard work from both parties involved.
