Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório de Projeto de Investigação pretende averiguar a aplicação e
utilização de materiais não estruturados em contexto pedagógico de Creche e Jardim de
Infância, assim como evidenciar a sua estratégia exploratória por parte das crianças. Com
o alvo de apresentar o trabalho desenvolvido ao longo do estágio, pretende-se caracterizar
o meio e o contexto educativo de forma reflexiva e fundamentada.
Para este estudo com abordagem de investigação-ação, importa recolher dados empíricos
sobre a influência de tais materiais na interação entre as crianças, e entre estas e os adultos.
Há, ainda, a preocupação de obter informação junto das educadoras mediante a utilização
de entrevistas semiestruturadas, para saber se valorizam a utilização deste tipo de
materiais.
Como resultado, verifica-se que as crianças, tanto em contexto de Creche como de Jardim
de Infância, se interessam por construir e brincar com os materiais não estruturados, e que
tais atividades aumentam o reportório criativo e inventivo da criança, a interação com os
pares para as atividades em grupo, desenvolvimento do vocabulário, competências sociais
e motricidade. Há, ainda, conceitos pedagógicos associados à utilização destes materiais
que podem ser trabalhados, tais como a consciência da importância da reciclagem e o
combate ao consumismo.
Com este tipo de materiais, as crianças inventam novas brincadeiras, ampliando a
criatividade e a imaginação. Exigem que ela não só experimente, como pense, pondere e
planeie, possibilitando-lhes a oportunidade de explorarem as suas habilidades e de
relacioná-las com aprendizagens já consolidadas, ampliando as habilidades nos diferentes
domínios.
This Research Project Report aims to investigate the application and use of unstructured materials in the pedagogical context of Nursery and Kindergarten and highlight their exploratory strategy by children. According to the performance during the internship, we intend to characterize the educational environment and context in a well-founded way. For this exploratory study with a qualitative methodological approach, it is vital to collect empirical data on the influence of such materials on the interaction between children and between them and adults. Through semi-structured interviews, we will also obtain the educator's opinions to determine if they value using this type of material. As a result, it appears that children, both in the nursery and kindergarten contexts, are engaged in building and playing with unstructured materials. Such activities promote creativity, imagination, interaction with peers for group activities, vocabulary improvement, social and motor skills, awareness of pedagogical concepts such as recycling and avoiding consumerism can also be associated with using these materials. With this sort of material, children invent new games, expanding their creativity and imagination.
