| dc.description.abstract | A criminalidade, impulsionada pela globalizaĆ§Ć£o e pelos avanƧos tecnolĆ³gicos, apresenta novas ameaƧas que tornam a seguranƧa uma preocupaĆ§Ć£o crescente para a sociedade. O Estado guineense, responsĆ”vel pela seguranƧa, justiƧa e bem-estar social, tem o dever de garantir o exercĆcio pleno dos direitos fundamentais dos cidadĆ£os, com a intervenĆ§Ć£o da autoridade policial na prevenĆ§Ć£o e combate Ć criminalidade. Esta dissertaĆ§Ć£o tem como objetivo principal compreender e descrever a realidade criminal em Bissau no perĆodo de 2016 a 2020. O estudo estĆ” estruturado em trĆŖs capĆtulos: o primeiro aborda o enquadramento teĆ³rico conceptual; o segundo analisa as estratĆ©gias de prevenĆ§Ć£o criminal; e o terceiro caracteriza a criminalidade em Bissau. O mĆ©todo adotado Ć© de natureza qualitativa, com carĆ”ter exploratĆ³rio e descritivo, complementada por entrevistas semiestruturadas, que sustentam a anĆ”lise apresentada. Os resultados deste estudo oferecem uma visĆ£o detalhada da evoluĆ§Ć£o da criminalidade em Bissau, destacando as principais formas de crimes e as estratĆ©gias adotadas para sua prevenĆ§Ć£o, contribuindo para a formulaĆ§Ć£o de polĆticas pĆŗblicas mais eficazes no contexto da seguranƧa. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Crime, driven by globalization and technological advances, presents new threats that make security an increasing concern for society. The Guinean state, responsible for security, justice, and social welfare, has the duty to ensure the full exercise of citizens' fundamental rights, with the intervention of police authorities in the prevention and fight against crime. This dissertation aims to understand and describe the criminal reality in Bissau during the period from 2016 to 2020. The study is structured into three chapters: the first addresses the theoretical and conceptual framework; the second analyzes criminal prevention strategies; and the third characterizes crime in Bissau. The methodology adopted is qualitative, with an exploratory and descriptive nature, complemented by semi-structured interviews that support the analysis presented. The results of this study provide a detailed view of the evolution of crime in Bissau, highlighting the main types of crimes and the strategies adopted for their prevention, contributing to the formulation of more effective public policies in the context of security. | pt_PT |
