Abstract(s)
O presente estudo insere-se no âmbito do Mestrado em Administração Educacional do
Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências (ISEC Lisboa), tendo como objeto de estudo a
utilização do sistema de gestão de aprendizagem (SGA), a plataforma Moodle - a
caracterização da sua utilização, por parte dos docentes - nos polos da Escola
Profissional Gustave Eiffel - Amadora Sede, Amadora e Lisboa Lumiar.
O estudo pretende fazer uma análise das potencialidades da plataforma que os
docentes identificam e usam, da tecnologia disponível na escola como facilitadora deste
processo e das razões apontadas para a sua não utilização ou utilização menos
frequente.
Foram analisados os dados académicos e profissionais dos docentes; as características
das salas de formação - em termos de equipamento tecnológico disponível; os
conhecimentos relativos à plataforma Moodle; conhecimentos de edição eletrónica,
multimédia e de formação Moodle e os fatores que influenciarão uma alteração da
forma de utilizar a plataforma.
Foi assumida uma abordagem metodológica, quantitativa de recolha e análise dos
dados, tendo envolvido os professores dos polos referidos, aos quais foi aplicado um
questionário.
Os resultados obtidos permitem concluir que mais de 90% dos docentes conhece a
plataforma Moodle, mas apenas 33% fazem uso da mesma. Como causas mais evidentes
desta utilização, referem o tempo disponível, a falta de formação e os recursos nas salas
que deveriam ser mais presentes e de melhor qualidade.
O seu uso principal é como repositório de ficheiros, no entanto os docentes reconhecem
várias das opções e atividades que podem realizar na plataforma
The present study is part of the Master's Degree in Educational Administration of the Higher Institute of Education and Sciences (ISEC), whose object is to study the use of the learning management system (SGA), the Moodle platform - the characterization of its use , by the teachers - at the educational establishments of the Gustave Eiffel Professional School - Amadora Sede, Amadora and Lisboa Lumiar. The study intends to make an analysis of the potentialities of the platform that the teachers identify and use, of the technology available in the school as facilitator of this process and of the reasons pointed out for its non use or less frequent use. The academic and professional data of the teachers were analyzed; the characteristics of training rooms - in terms of available technological equipment; the knowledge about the Moodle platform; knowledge of electronic edition, multimedia and training Moodle and the factors that will influence a change in the way to use the platform. A methodological, quantitative approach to data collection and analysis was undertaken, involving the teachers of the referred educational establishments, to whom a questionnaire was applied. The results obtained allow us to conclude that more than 90% of teachers know the Moodle platform, but only 33% use it. As more evident causes of this use, they mention the available time, the lack of training and the resources in the rooms that should be more present and of better quality. Its main use is as a repository of files, however the teachers recognize several of the options and activities that they can carry out in the platform.
