| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação visa analisar e compreender a natureza das interações entre a criança e o livro ilustrado contemporâneo, tendo como ponto de partida os estudos que abordam as diferentes definições de livro ilustrado e dos seus constituintes. Procuramos estudar e perceber os benefícios da relação destas obras com o público infantil, nomeadamente os efeitos terapêuticos que estes livros podem proporcionar em temáticas complexas e de abordagem sensível (tópicos tabu). Seguidamente, analisamos os dados recolhidos junto de um grupo de 25 crianças entre os sete e os oito anos de idade, a quem foi dado a conhecer o livro/protótipo pictórico ‘O Jardim’ de Tatyana Losik. A análise incidiu sobre as diferentes interpretações da estória feitas pelas crianças. A obra em causa foi selecionada por abordar uma problemática real e atual, o bullying. Esta investigação teve por base uma abordagem qualitativa, procurando ideias, opiniões e pensamentos subentendidos nas respostas aos questionários e na realização dos exercícios de ilustração aqui expostos. Por fim concluímos que as crianças fizeram reflexões acerca das ações das personagens, principalmente da protagonista, associando-as com as suas próprias vivências pessoais. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The present dissertation aims to analyze and understand the nature of interactions between the child and the contemporary picture book. We focused on studying and understanding the benefits of the relationship of these works with the children's audience, namely the therapeutic effects that these books can provide in complex and sensitive themes (such as taboo topics). Then, we analyzed the data collected from a group of 25 children between seven and eight years old, to whom the pictorial book/prototype ‘The Garden’ from Tatyana Losik was introduced. The analysis focused on the different interpretations of the story made by the children. This particular book was selected for addressing a real and current issue, which is the bullying. This investigation was based on a qualitative approach, searching for ideas, opinions and thoughts underlying the answers to the questionnaires and in carrying out the illustration exercises presented here. Finally, we concluded that the children reflected on the characters' actions, mainly of the protagonist, associating them with their own personal experiences. | pt_PT |
