Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como temática: A organização do tempo em educação de
infância – A adequação da rotina às necessidades e interesses das crianças.
O relatório apresenta um estudo transversal em dois contextos distintos, creche e
jardim-de-infância, realizado a partir das observações e das vivências realizadas nos
momentos de estágio no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar.
A investigação assentou no paradigma interpretativo e na metodologia qualitativa,
tendo como finalidade compreender como é que na organização do tempo as educadoras
de infância organizavam a rotina de forma a responder às necessidades e interesses das
crianças.
Neste estudo as opções de recolha da informação foram a observação participante,
as notas de campo, o inquérito por questionário e a análise documental. A partir dos
instrumentos selecionados, assim como do modo como foram percecionadas as duas
práticas pedagógicas, são descritas e interpretadas as observações realizadas e as
conceções das educadoras cooperantes.
A análise interpretativa realizada neste estudo permitiu constatar que o educador de
infância, enquanto gestor de currículo responsável pela organização do tempo no contexto
educativo onde exerce funções, deve adequar as rotinas de forma a responder às
necessidades e interesses das crianças.
The theme of the present resume is: The organization of time in kindergarten- Children’s necessities and interests adapted to the routines. The resume presents a transversal study in two distinct contexts: baby nursery and kindergarten, both based on the observation and direct cohabitation that took place during the internship in the context of the master’s degree in preschool education. The investigation was based on interpretative paradigm and qualitative methodology with the final purpose of understanding how in the organization of time the childhood educators organize the routine in order to respond to children’s interests and necessities. In this study the forms of gathering information were several – began with participative observation, field notes, questionnaires and documental analyses. From the selected instruments, as well as the way the two pedagogic practices were perceived, the observations made and the cooperating teacher’s conceptions are described and interpreted. The interpretative analyses made in this study allow us understand that the childhood educator, while curriculums manager and responsible of time in the educative context were its functions are exercised, should suit the routines in order to correspond to the children’s necessities and interests.
