Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório de Projeto de investigação foi realizado no âmbito da unidade curricular Estágio em 1.º e 2.º Ciclos. O estudo foi desenvolvido numa turma do 4.ºano de escolaridade, de modo a compreender de que forma a abordagem dos Direitos Humanos contribui para a promoção cidadania democrática, no 1.º ciclo do Ensino Básico. Para tal foram estabelecidos os objetivos: i) Conhecer as opiniões das crianças relativamente aos Direitos Humanos e os Direitos das Crianças, ii) Desenvolver atividades/momentos que visam promover a importância e compreensão dos Direitos
Humanos para a vida humana digna e iii) Identificar aprendizagens dos(as) alunos(as) relativamente aos Direitos Humanos.
Do ponto de vista metodológico, o presente estudo insere-se na investigação de natureza qualitativa, enquadrando-se na investigação sobre a própria prática. Para a recolha de dados recorreu-se à observação participante e à recolha documental. No que diz respeito à técnica de análise de dados foi utlizada a análise de conteúdo. No decorrer da prática pedagógica foram realizadas atividades de forma a conhecer as opiniões das crianças relativamente aos Direitos Humanos e os Direitos das Crianças. Com base nas opiniões foram dinamizadas atividades e criados momentos de diálogo, visando promover a importância e compreensão dos Direitos Humanos. Através dos resultados obtidos conclui-se que foram evidenciadas aprendizagens relativamente aos Direitos Humanos, cujas aprendizagens traduziram-se na promoção de valores associados à cidadania democrática, nomeadamente: a participação, a liberdade, o respeito e a igualdade.
The present Project Report was carried out within the 1st and 2nd Cycle Internship course unit. The study was developed in a 4th grade class to comprehend how the approach to Human Rights contributes to promoting citizenship values in the 1st cycle of Basic Education. To this end, the following objectives were set: i) To know the opinions of children regarding Human Rights and Children’s Rights. ii) To develop activities/moments that aim to promote the importance and comprehension of Human Rights for a dignified human life. iii) To identify what students have learned about Human Rights. From a methodological perspective, this study falls within a qualitative investigation, framing itself as research on one's practice. The collection of data was possible using participant observation and document collection. Regarding the data analysis technique, content analysis was utilized. During the pedagogical practice, activities were carried out to learn the children's conceptions of Human Rights and Children's Rights. Based on their conceptions, activities were dynamized and moments of dialogue were created to promote the importance and comprehension of Human Rights. Through the obtained results, it was concluded that learning towards Human Rights was evidenced, which was translated into the promotion of values associated with democratic citizenship, specifically: participation, freedom, respect and equality.
