Abstract(s)
A presente investigação tem como objetivo compreender a influência que a creche tem
no desenvolvimento da criança.
Nesse sentido procurou-se, por um lado, conhecer o funcionamento de uma creche e por
outro, pretendeu-se compreender junto dos pais das crianças que integravam o jardim-deinfância da mesma localidade, qual a sua perceção sobre os efeitos que observaram após a
frequência da criança na creche, ou no caso de não frequência, quais os motivos inerentes.
Para esse efeito foi realizado um estudo de caso numa creche no concelho de Arganil,
recorrendo a diferentes intervenientes nomeadamente aos pais, educadores do jardim-deinfância da localidade, e à assistente social da creche. Para a sua concretização foram
utilizadas como técnicas de recolha de dados, um inquérito por questionário que abrangeu
trinta e oito pais, três entrevistas, e análise documental.
Através deste estudo de caso verificamos que o efeito da creche destaca-se ao nível da
socialização, da aquisição de regras e da autonomia. Relativamente aos motivos de não
inserção da criança em creche, os pais mencionam a existência de suporte familiar para
assegurar estes cuidados.
Sobressai deste trabalho a necessidade de maior intervenção estatal ao nível das vagas
comparticipadas, de modo a que esta resposta se torne universal e permita identificar
precocemente problemas ao nível do desenvolvimento da criança.
Paralelamente, constatou-se que a função do serviço social se reduz à direção técnica
deste equipamento, verificando-se que a intervenção realizada junto das crianças e das suas
famílias se apresenta muito reduzida, limitando-se à resolução de problemas pontuais e
encaminhamento de situações de risco para as entidades competentes.
The present investigation has as main objective the influence of an undeveloped daycare center of the child. What he was looking for was on the one hand to know the operation of a nursery and another, to be sought next to the country of the children who integrated the kindergarten of the same locality, what is his perception of the effect that after the frequency in the nursery, or in case of frequency no, which the inherent motives. For this purpose, a case study was carried out in a day-care center in the municipality of Arganil, using different actors, namely the parents, kindergarten teachers of the locality, and the day care social worker. Data collection techniques were used to collect data, a questionnaire survey that included thirty-eight parents, three interviews, and documentary analysis. Through this case study, we verified that the effect of the day care center is on the level of socialization, rule acquisition and autonomy. Regarding the reasons for not inserting the child in day care, the parents mention the existence of family support to keep this care. Survive the work of greater state attention at the level of the subsidized vacancies, so that this is a universal response and allows the identification of problems in the development of the child. At the same time, it was found that a function for social service has a capability of this entity, and that it is verified that there is a risk to the competent authorities.
