A perda inevitável de um dente no setor anterior é um verdadeiro desafio na reabilitação por implantes. O clínico é então confrontado com uma importante reflexão com o seu paciente sobre o momento da colocação do implante em relação à extração.
De facto, após a avulsão do dente, a perda de tecido mole e duro pode comprometer a estética do sítio implantar anterior, nas dimensões verticais e horizontais. Atualmente, existe uma tendência de colocação de implantes unitários imediatamente após a extração do dente, combinado com uma coroa provisória.
Esta abordagem cirúrgica evita assim a reabsorção do osso alveolar e as alterações dimensionais dos tecidos moles. Menos traumática, esta técnica viável, permite uma redução no tempo de tratamento global, levando a uma maior satisfação estética dos pacientes.
Mas os resultados não podem ser influenciados apenas pelo momento da intervenção em si. Um protocolo cirúrgico meticuloso e justificado desde a extração do dente até à reabilitação protética é a chave para o sucesso funcional e estético.
O objetivo principal desta revisão narrativa é apresentar uma análise atual da técnica de colocação imediata de implante unitário com coroa provisória no setor anterior.
Este trabalho segue uma metodologia baseada em pesquisa bibliográfica destes últimos 15 anos utilizando como motores de pesquisa: PubMed, Cochrane, B-On, Scielo e Google Scholar.
The inevitable loss of a tooth in the anterior sector is a real challenge in implant rehabilitation. The clinician is then faced with an important reflection with his patient on the timing of implant placement after extraction. Indeed, after tooth avulsion, the loss of soft and hard tissue could compromise the aesthetic of the anterior implant site in both the vertical and horizontal dimensions. Currently, there is a trend to place single implants immediately after tooth extraction, combined with a provisional crown. Thus, this surgical approach avoids the reabsorption of the alveolar bone and dimensional alterations of the soft tissues. Less traumatic, this viable technique allows for a reduction in overall treatment time, leading to greater aesthetic satisfaction for patients. But results cannot be influenced only by the timing of the intervention itself. A meticulous and justified surgical protocol from tooth extraction to prosthetic rehabilitation is the key to functional and aesthetic success. The main objective of this narrative review is to present a current analysis of the technique of immediate placement of single implant with provisional crown in the anterior sector. This work follows a methodology based on bibliographic research of these last 15 years using as search engines: PubMed, Cochrane, B-On, Scielo and Google Scholar.
La perte inévitable d'une dent dans le secteur antérieur est un véritable défi en réhabilitation implantaire. Après l'extraction, le clinicien est confronté à une réflexion importante avec son patient sur le moment de la pose de l'implant. En effet, après l’avulsion de la dent, la perte de tissus durs et mous peut compromettre l'esthétique du site implantaire antérieur dans les dimensions verticales et horizontales. Actuellement, la tendance est à la pose d'implants unitaires immédiatement après l'extraction de la dent, associés à une couronne provisoire. Cette approche chirurgicale évite ainsi la résorption de l'os alvéolaire et les altérations dimensionnelles des tissus mous. Moins traumatisante, cette technique viable permet de réduire la durée totale du traitement, apportant une meilleure satisfaction esthétique pour les patients. Mais les résultats ne peuvent pas être influencés uniquement par le moment de l'intervention en soi. Un protocole chirurgical méticuleux et justifié, de l'extraction dentaire à la réhabilitation prothétique, est la clé du succès fonctionnel et esthétique. L'objectif principal de cette revue narrative est de présenter une analyse actuelle de la technique de pose immédiate d'un implant unitaire avec couronne provisoire dans le secteur antérieur.
