O presente relatório de estágio intitulado "As representações de profissionais e
famílias acompanhadas por um CAFAP na zona Norte de Portugal sobre a modalidade de
Reunificação Familiar" foi desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Intervenção Social
na Infância e Juventude em Risco de Exclusão Social promovido pelo Instituto Superior
de Serviço Social do Porto. O estágio foi realizado num CAFAP da zona Norte de
Portugal, durante o período de outubro de 2022 a junho de 2023.
No decorrer deste estágio, procurou-se explorar as representações das famílias e
dos profissionais sobre a modalidade de Reunificação Familiar, conhecer os principais
problemas que identificam, necessidades e forças da intervenção social enquadrada na
modalidade de Reunificação Familiar. Compreender os procedimentos de intervenção
realizados junto das famílias acompanhadas nesta modalidade e quais os pontos de
melhoria a desenvolver, na perspetiva dos profissionais, mas também das próprias
famílias, foi um dos principais objetivos deste estágio.
A pesquisa envolveu a análise das representações de seis famílias acompanhadas
pelo CAFAP e de três profissionais envolvidos nas intervenções. Baseado numa visão
ecossistêmica, o relatório estruturou-se em cinco capítulos que procuram refletir o
percurso de estágio, assim como as perceções das famílias intervencionadas e dos
profissionais que as acompanharam sobre o processo de intervenção.
No final do relatório, destaca-se a importância da intervenção familiar na
promoção do bem-estar das famílias e crianças em situações de vulnerabilidade,
ressaltando valores profissionais como o compromisso e a empatia para com as famílias.
The present internship report titled "Representations of professionals and families supported by a CAFAP in Northern Portugal on the Reunification Family modality" was developed within the scope of the Master's Degree in Social Intervention in Children and Youth at Risk of Social Exclusion, promoted by the Superior Institute of Social Service of Porto. This internship took place at a CAFAP in Northern Portugal from October 2022 to June 2023. Throughout this internship, we aimed to explore the representations of families and professionals regarding the Reunification Family modality, understand the main problems, needs, and strengths of the social intervention framed in this modality. Understanding the intervention procedures carried out with the families in this modality and identifying areas for improvement, from the perspective of both professionals and families, was one of the main objectives of this internship. The research involved analyzing the representations of six families supported by the CAFAP and three professionals involved in the interventions. Based on an ecosystemic approach, the report was structured into five chapters aiming to reflect on the internship journey, as well as the perceptions of the intervened families and the professionals who accompanied them through the intervention process. At the end of the report, we emphasize the importance of family intervention in promoting the well-being of families and children in situations of vulnerability, highlighting professional values such as commitment and empathy towards families.
