Abstract(s)
O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a estrutura, as dependências e as patologias
do modelo da força destacada da Unidade Especial de Polícia no Comando
Metropolitano do Porto, visando identificar áreas e processos que necessitam de
melhorias e propor soluções para o futuro.
A pesquisa abrangeu a revisão das normas vigentes, a análise de conteúdo de
literatura relevante e a aplicação de questionários a comandantes que, pelas suas
funções , tiveram responsabilidades para com o modelo estrutural da força destacada.
Os resultados revelam uma estrutura complexa e ambígua, marcada por
disfunções e patologias, além de definição pouco clara quanto ao posicionamento
estrutural na PSP. Identifica-se a necessidade urgente de agilizar procedimentos devido
às discrepâncias entre as normas estabelecidas e as práticas necessárias para um
funcionamento eficaz.
As conclusões indicam que a clarificação das dependências e do posicionamento
estrutural em conjunto com a definição clara de processos, pode levar a melhorias
significativas no desempenho organizacional, convertendo-se mais efíciente.

The research included a review of current regulations, content analysis of relevant literature, an the application of questionnaires to commanders who, due to their roles, had responsabilities related to the strutural model of the detached force. Thes results reveal a complex and ambiguous structure, marked by dysfunctions and pathologies, as well as an undefined structural positioning within PSP. There is an urgente need to stremline procedures due to discrepancies between established norms and the practices necessary for effective functioning. The conclusions indicate that clarifying dependencies and structural positioning, along with clearly defining processes, can lead to significant improvements in organizational performance, making it more efficient.
