Abstract(s)
A população portuguesa é predominantemente idosa. Nesta faixa etária é
frequente a existência de patologias de foro ortopédico cuja
solução/tratamento muitas vezes passa pela realização de artroplastias. As
artroplastias são cirurgias ortopédicas para substituição, remodelação ou
realinhamento da articulação que promovem o alívio da dor e restauração da
mobilidade. Compete ao Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de
Reabilitação prestar cuidados neste âmbito proporcionando alívio da dor,
segurança, promovendo a funcionalidade, autonomia, autoestima e dignidade
do utente.
Considerando este contexto serão identificadas intervenções de enfermagem
de reabilitação em pessoas idosas submetidas a artoplastias da anca ou
joelho.
A filosofia de cuidados que sustentou a minha atuação foi a Teoria do déficit
de Autocuidado de Orem, onde o autocuidado é o conceito central.
O objetivo do presente relatório é identificar as atividades desenvolvidas que
permitiram o desenvolvimento e aquisição das competências comuns e
especificas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Reabilitação.
The portuguese population is predominantly elderly. In this age group, there are often orthopedic pathologies whose solution/treatment often involves arthroplasties. Arthroplasties are orthopedic surgeries for replacement, remodeling or realignment of the joint that promote pain relief and restoration of mobility. It is the responsability of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing to provide differentiated care and proportionate pain relief, safety, promoting the functionality, autonomy, selfcare and self esteem of the pacient. Considering this context, rehabilitation nursing interventions will be identified for elderly people undergoing hip or knee arthroplasty. The philosophy of care that supported my work was Orem's Self-Care Deficit Theory, where self-care is the central concept. The purpose of this report is to identify the activities developed that allow the development and acquisition of common and specific skills of the Specialist Nurse in Rehabilitation Nursing.
