Abstract(s)
Desta forma, é importante aferir a
A primeira é a parte

In this way, it is important to measure the Motivation and Satisfaction of the police, since they are crucial factors for the proper performance of the police function that is so important and demanding in a crisis situation, as well as whether it has changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This investigation deals with the effective of the Comando Metropolitano de Lisboa (COMETLIS), since it is the most effective Police Unit and the second most affected district by this pandemic. This investigation is divided into two main part. The first is the theoretical part, in which a conceptual framework is carried out on the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on organizations and people, as well as a conceptualization on motivational theories and satisfactory models. The second is the empirical part, in which a quantitative method was chosen, and the analysis and discussion of the results obtained through the application of the questionnaire survey was also carried out. With the results obtained it was possible to conclude that the Motivation and Satisfaction of COMETLIS police officers in general contours presents good or satisfactory results, only in the questions related to motivation for hierarchy/organization factors the results were less positive. We also conclude that it is possible to observe that the COVID-19 pandemic did not cause significant changes in the Motivation and Satisfaction of COMETLIS police officers, except motivation for factors related to hierarchy/organization.
