Abstract(s)
fundamentais.
Abstract: This study aimed to produce an explicative model of the relationship between the competences of quality management. Transversal, collective and essential competencies were studied, as well as the fundamental knowledge. Additionally, the underlying dimensions were identified and also their differentiation from the socio-demographic characteristics, while understanding their contribution for the organizational learning. The investigation was developed using an empirical methodology of the perception of teachers and staff of Polytechnic Institutions, followed by the validation of the measuring instruments and the relation among the different studied concepts. Through the results, it was possible demonstrate that the organizational context is of the outmost importance for individual and collective learning. It was also concluded that the various dimensions of the competences of quality management are correlated. Based on the relations established among the studied concepts, identified other four new concepts: Quality Management and Organizational Learning; Quality Management and Learning through Management; Quality Management and Collective Learning and finally Quality Management and Individual Learning. It was also verified how the different learning levels are articulated with the studied competencies in the context of quality management.
