Abstract(s)
Atualmente, as novas tecnologias têm um papel fundamental na sociedade. O presente trabalho visa aferir se as novas tecnologias, nomeadamente os drones e os sistemas de mapeamento laser têm as características necessárias para operarem no âmbito da aquisição de dados em acidentes de viação em que seja necessária uma investigação do acidente por parte do Núcleo de Investigação Criminal em Acidentes de Viação da Guarda Nacional Republicana.
Como tal, foi realizada uma análise documental e inquéritos por entrevista para verificar se realmente é justificável a implementação destes equipamentos especificamente para a área em estudo considerando diversas condicionantes, quer no ponto de vista operacional, técnico e económico.
Não obstante os equipamentos em estudo, foram mencionados mais alguns que os entrevistados consideraram ser importantes no desempenho das funções enquanto militar do Núcleo de Investigação Criminal em Acidentes de Viação.
