Abstract(s)
O projeto de investigação de que este relatório testemunhou teve como finalidade
compreender de que forma a literatura para a infância pode contribuir para uma educação
multi/intercultural. Este estudo foi realizado na Unidade Curricular de Estágio IV, numa
turma de 4º ano do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico.
Para a realização do projeto, foi formulada a seguinte questão: “Como é que as histórias
da literatura para a infância podem contribuir para uma educação multi/intercultural?”,
definindo como objetivos: “Identificar e compreender de que forma as histórias de
literatura para a infância podem contribuir para uma educação intercultural” e
“Sensibilizar os alunos para o respeito pelas diferenças”.
Referente à opção metodológica, o estudo enquadra-se numa investigação qualitativa,
inserindo-se numa abordagem de investigação sobre a prática. No que se refere à recolha
de dados, foram utilizadas técnicas como a observação participante, o inquérito por
questionário, o inquérito por entrevista e a análise documental. Quanto às técnicas de
tratamento de dados recorreu-se à análise de conteúdos.
Os principais resultados obtidos através desta investigação demonstram que as histórias
de literatura para a infância podem desempenhar um importante papel na promoção de
uma educação multi/intercultural, uma vez que promovem o conhecimento de realidades
e de culturas diferentes.
The research project that this report witnessed aimed to understand how children’s literature can contribute to multi/intercultural education. This study was performed in the Internship IV curricular unit, in a 4th year class of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. For the realization of the project, the following question was asked: " How can children's literature stories contribute to multi/intercultural education?", defining as objectives: “Identify and understand how the stories of literature for children can contribute to an intercultural education” and “Sensitize students to respect differences”. Regarding the methodological option, the study is part of a qualitative investigation, entering of a research approach on practice. Regarding data collection, techniques such as participant observation, questionnaire survey, interview survey and document analysis were used. As for data processing techniques, resorted to the content analysis. The main results obtained through this investigation demonstrate that children's literature stories can play an important role in the promotion of a multi/intercultural education, as they promote the knowledge of different realities and cultures.
