Abstract(s)
O trabalho que agora apresentamos insere-se no estudo da
problemática da apropriação e preservação do espaço escolar.
O objecto de estudo a disciplina de Educação Visual e
Tecnológica, enquanto promotora de uma relação que
potencie a intervenção dos alunos nesse mesmo espaço,
servindo como agente para a sua apropriação e preservação.
Tendo como opção metodológica a investigação-acção,
pretende-se perceber se existiu uma alteração no
comportamento e no relacionamento dos alunos com o
espaço escolar, após a intervenção proporcionada pela
disciplina de Educação Visual e Tecnológica. Neste contexto
procurou-se: i) identificar a importância que tem para os
alunos a participação em projectos de intervenção no espaço
escolar; ii) contribuir para que os alunos preservem esse
mesmo espaço.
Provindo do trabalho pedagógico “Escola, um espaço a
encontrar”, cujo teor se centra numa intervenção estética no
átrio do bloco B, da escola sede, do Agrupamento de Escolas
El-Rei D. Manuel I em Alcochete, encetada por uma turma de
6º ano, pretendeu-se: i) contribuir para que os alunos
respeitem os espaços escolares; ii) contribuir para que os
alunos preservem o trabalho dos colegas.
Os resultados deste estudo apontam para a importância que
os alunos põem na tónica da proximidade que sentiram com o
espaço escolar através desta actividade, denotando-se uma
maior tendência para a preservação do mesmo.
Partindo da análise dos resultados apresentam-se as
conclusões do estudo, limitações e implicações educativas,
perspectivando-se novos caminhos de investigação.
The work that now falls within the present study the question of ownership and maintenance of the school. The object of study the discipline of Visual and Technological Education, as a promoter of a relationship that enhances the involvement of students in that space, serving as agent for the ownership and preservation. Having as a methodological option action research, we intend to see if there was a change in behavior and students' relationship with the school after the intervention provided by the discipline of Visual and Technological Education. In this context we sought to: i) identify the importance for students to participate in projects of intervention in the school, ii) help students to preserve this space. Coming from the pedagogical work "School, a place to find" content, which focuses on aesthetic intervention in the lobby of Block B, the school's headquarters, the Group of Schools King D. Manuel I in Alcochete, initiated by a group of 6th year, aimed to: i) to help students meet the school premises, ii) help students to preserve the work of others. The results of this study indicate the importance that students put emphasis on the closeness they felt with the school through this activity, indicating a greater tendency to preserve the same. Based on the analysis of the results we present the findings, limitations and implications for education, looking ahead to new avenues of research.
