Abstract(s)
Com este trabalho pretende analisar-se qual a perceção que a empresa e os trabalhadores têm do Plano de Segurança e Saúde (PSS), a cultura e o clima de segurança e identificar as áreas deficitárias de forma a permitir implementar ações de melhoria e/ou corretivas. Para tal, aplicou-se um questionário a uma amostra de 42 trabalhadores da empresa.
A estrutura do trabalho encontra-se distribuída pela seguinte orientação: Revisão da Literatura; Caraterização da Organização; Metodologia; Análise e Discussão dos Dados e Conclusão.
Os resultados do estudo permitiram concluir que os inquiridos conhecem e valorizam o PSS, verificando-se valores de perceção e concordância relevantes. No total apresenta uma média de 4,30 e σ = 0,46, o fator Desacordo foi de 24,6%, e o fator Acordo foi de 75,4%.
As dimensões da cultura e do clima de segurança foram classificadas como positivas e o grau de perceção foi elevado nas dimensões: D4 – Colegas de Trabalho, D5 – Responsabilidades, D6 – Pressão no Trabalho, D7 – Equipamentos de Proteção Individual, D8 – Comunicação para a Segurança, D9 – Incidentes/Acidentes de Trabalho, D10 – Formação para a Segurança, D11 – Regras e Procedimentos e D12 – Aprendizagem da Organização. Em relação à D2 – Gestão de Topo e D3 – Chefia Direta também evidenciaram um grau de perceção positivo, mas com valores mais baixos.
Os fatores sociodemográficos revelam que as variáveis Género, Função/Posto de Trabalho, Anos de Experiência na Função e Função de Supervisão não apresentam uma relação estatisticamente significativa com as dimensões do clima de segurança. As variáveis Idade, Habilitações Literárias, Antiguidade na Empresa, Setor/Departamento, Tipo de Contrato, Acidentes de Trabalho apresentam uma relação estatisticamente significativa com determinadas dimensões do clima de segurança.
De acordo com os resultados alcançados para cada dimensão foram identificados pontos de melhoria com o intuito de melhorar o sistema de gestão existente.
A conclusão demonstrou a importância de incutir nos trabalhadores a verdadeira valia que o PSS representa na vida profissional e social e o impacto que a cultura e o clima de segurança positivo das organizações exercem nos processos de gestão da segurança.
This work intends to analyze the perception that both the company and the employees have about the Health and Safety Plan (HSP), culture and security environment, and to identify the deficit areas, in order to allow the implementation of improving and/or corrective actions. To this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 42 employees of the company. The structure of the work is distributed by the following orientation: Literature Review; Characterization of the Organization; Methodology; Analysis and Data Discussion and Conclusion. The results of the study allowed to conclude that the surveyed know and value the HSP, verifying relevant perception and agreement values. In total, it has an average of 4.30 and σ=0.46, the Disagreement Factor was 24.6% and the Agreement Factor was 75.4%. The dimensions of the security environment were rated as positive and the degree of perception was high in the dimensions: D4 – Coworkers, D5 – Responsibilities, D6 – Work Pressure, D7 – Personal Protection Equipment, D8 – Safety Communication, D9 – Incidents / Work-related Accidents, D10 – Safety Training, D11 – Rules and Procedures, and D12 – Organization Learning. Regarding D2 – Top Management and D3 – Direct Leadership, they also showed a positive perception level, but with lower values. Sociodemographic factors reveal that the variables Gender, Function/job, Years of Experience in that Function and Supervisory Function do not represent a statistically significant relation with the dimensions of the security environment. The variables Age, Literacy, Seniority in the Company, Sector / Department, Type of Contract, Work-related Accidents show a statistically significant relation with certain dimensions of the security environment. According to the results achieved for each dimension, improvement points were identified in order to improve the existing management system.
