Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como tema principal “ O brincar na Creche e no Jardim de Infância”. Tem como objetivo compreender e interpretar de que forma as educadoras de infância promovem o brincar nos contextos de Creche e Jardim de Infância.
A realização deste estudo foi baseada nas observações e experiências vividas nos estágios de Creche e Jardim-de-Infância, desenvolvidos a partir da unidade curricular de Estágio em Educação de Infância, que integra o Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar.
A metodologia deste projeto enquadra-se no paradigma interpretativo, orientado por uma investigação qualitativa e baseada na abordagem de investigação-ação. Foi essencial a seleção das ferramentas no que diz respeito à recolha de informação. Destaca-se, a observação participante, as notas de campo, o registo fotográfico, o inquérito por questionário e a análise documental. Através destes dispositivos, foi possível compreender melhor as perspetivas e práticas pedagógicas que a educadoras defendem e colocam em prática.
A análise do questionário evidenciou a importância que as educadoras cooperantes atribuem às brincadeiras livres das crianças, na sequência de interações que as crianças desenvolvem umas com as outras e com os adultos. As educadoras defendem a importância de organizar os espaços e rotinas, de forma a proporcionar todos os meios necessários para ir ao encontro das necessidades das crianças.
O estudo realizado permite salientar que o brincar é valorizado e destacado nas práticas das equipas pedagógicas, enquanto atividade fundamental para o processo de desenvolvimento/aprendizagem das crianças.
The present report has as main theme “Play in day-care and kindergarten”. Has as objective understand and interpret in what way childhood educators promote play in day-care and kindergarten contexts. The realization of this study was based on the observation and experiments lived in day-car and kindergarten internships, developed from the curricular unit of internship in childhood education, the integrate the masters in preschool education. The methodology of this Project fits the interpretative paradigm, oriented by qualitative research and based on the research-action approach. It was essential the tools selection, in regard to the collection of information. Stands out the participatory observation, field notes, the photographic record, the questionnaire survey and the documentary analysis. Through these devices it was possible to better understand the perspectives and pedagogical practices that educators defend and put into practice. The survey analysis evidenced the importance that the cooperating educators attribute to the children’s free paly, in the sequence of interaction that the children develop whit each other and with adults. The educators defend the importance of organaizing spaces and routines, in order to provide all the necessary means to meet the needs of the children. The study made it possible to emphasize that the Play is valued and highlighted in practices of the pedagogical teams, as fundamental activity for the development/learning processo f the children's.
