Abstract(s)
As tecnologias da comunicação têm permitido levar, especialmente pela proliferação das redes sociais, o conhecimento e a informação de uma forma generalizada às pessoas, inclusive as matérias financeiras. Este estudo procura analisar o impacto do uso dessas tecnologias na formação financeira dos portugueses e o impacto na sua literacia financeira. Procura-se contribuir para uma melhor compreensão do fenómeno da utilização dos diferentes meios de comunicação na formação financeira dos portugueses. Como metodologia, analisar-se-á um estudo de caso, em específico, o projeto de literacia financeira Contas-poupança, do jornalista Pedro Andersson. Para a recolha de dados foi efetuado um inquérito aos seguidores do projeto Contas-poupança, bem como como uma entrevista ao autor do programa. Através da aplicação do qui-quadrado, verifica-se a associação entre a importância reconhecida pelos utilizadores do Contas-poupança para a sua literacia financeira bem como à sua utilização relativamente a outras plataformas de literacia financeira, como à aplicação prática dos conhecimentos obtidos. Verifica-se ainda, que o conhecimento das matérias apresentadas pelo Contas-poupança está associado, tanto ao tempo de acompanhamento do projeto como está associado à compreensão de temas financeiros em geral
The communication technologies enable the spread of knowledge and information topeople in a generalized way, especially through the proliferation of social networks, ncluding financial matters. This study analysed the impact of the use of information technologies on the financial education of the Portuguese and the impact on their financial literacy. It contributes to a better understanding of the phenomenon of the use of the media, in the financial education of the Portuguese. As a methodology, a case study will be analysed, specifically, the financial literacy project Contas-poupança, by journalist Pedro Andersson. For data collection, a survey was carried out among the followers, as well as an interview with the author of the program. Through the application of the chi-square, there is an association between the importance recognized by users of Contas-poupança for their financial literacy and both, its use in relation to other financial literacy platforms, and the practical application of the knowledge obtained. It is also verified that the knowledge of the subjects presented by the Savings Accounts is associated, both to the time of monitoring the project, and is associated with the understanding of financial themes in general
