Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi elaborado no âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Estágio em Educação de Infância I, II e III, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar da Escola Superior da Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. A temática central da presente investigação incide sobre a Música em Contextos de Educação de Infância. Este trabalho de investigação parte das intervenções realizadas durante os estágios e tem como objetivos apresentar práticas diversificadas suscetíveis de serem implementadas nestes contextos, refletir criticamente sobre as práticas observadas e compreender as conceções das educadoras cooperantes relativamente à temática. A metodologia adotada neste relatório enquadra-se na abordagem qualitativa, com recurso à investigação-ação, tendo por base a identificação de uma situação-problema: a utilização da música nos contextos de educação de infância de forma limitada. Face a esta realidade, formulou-se a questão de investigação: “Como potenciar a Exploração Sonora e Musical em Contextos de Educação de Infância?”. Para dar resposta a esta questão recorri a técnicas de recolha de dados como a observação participante, notas de campo, registos multimédia e entrevistas. Estas técnicas permitiram sustentar a análise das intervenções realizadas ao longo do processo investigativo. Os resultados revelam que é fundamental repensar as conceções das profissionais, uma vez que este estudo evidencia o potencial da música enquanto recurso educativo multifacetado e adaptável às necessidades e interesses das crianças.
This report was prepared within the scope of the Internship in Early Childhood Education I, II and III Curricular Unit, of the Master's Degree in Preschool Education of the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. The central theme of this research focuses on Music in Early Childhood Education Contexts. This research study is based on the interventions carried out during the internships and aims to present diverse practices that can be implemented in these contexts, critically reflecting on the practices observed and understanding the conceptions of the cooperating educators regarding the theme. The methodology adopted in this report is part of the qualitative approach, using action research, based on the identification of a problem situation: the limited use of music in early childhood education contexts. Considering this reality, the research question was formulated: “How can we promote Sound and Music Exploration in Early Childhood Education Contexts?”. To answer this question, I used data collection techniques such as participant observation, field notes, multimedia recordings and interviews. These techniques supported the analysis of the interventions carried out throughout the research process. The results reveal that it is essential to rethink professionals' conceptions, since this study highlights the potential of music as a multifaceted educational resource that can be adapted to children's needs and interests.
