Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho de projeto tem como objetivo a implementação de um hostel, denominado “Wonder Island Hostel”, no centro urbano da Ribeira Grande, na Ilha de São Miguel, nos Açores.
O plano de negócios foi pensado numa ótica de diversificação da oferta do destino, disponibilizando aos turistas um hostel com quartos temáticos, em que cada um representa um dos vários locas idílicos da ilha, contemplando a beleza e a plenitude da natureza presente nos Açores. Trata-se de um empreendimento turístico que aposta na preservação do ambiente e que pretende fomentar nos turistas o sentimento que a promotora nutre pela beleza do destino.
O projeto está sustentado num estudo ao mercado e na respetiva análise económico-financeira, que permitiu justificar a sua viabilidade. O investimento inicial é de 340.055,77€, e de acordo com os pressupostos considerados, o projeto apresenta um Valor Atual Líquido de 346.349€, uma Taxa Interna de Rentabilidade de 33,56% e um Payback Period de 3 anos.
This document aims the implementation of a hostel called “Wonder Island Hostel”, in the urban center of Ribeira Grande, in São Miguel Island, Açores. The project is supported by a market study and its own economic and financial analysis, which justifies its viability.
