Abstract(s)
O Projeto tem como objetivo propor uma estratégia de intervenção no território, na linha do Plano Nacional de Gestão Integrada de Fogos Rurais - PNGIFR, plano este que vem propor uma Estratégia, uma cadeia de processos e a implementação de Programas de Acão de nível Regional e Sub-Regional e ainda de Programas de Execução Municipais, que passa pela implementação faseada, de acordo com uma identificação dos processos prioritários, e recorre, sempre que desejável e possível, a projetos piloto e programas locais, proporcionando uma implementação validada e sustentável. A proposta piloto foi definida para a Unidade de Gestão de Fogo (UGFo) da Bacia do rio Seixe e subsequente sectorização do território em Subunidades de Contenção de Fogo (SCF), através de promoção de Parcelas de Intervençao (PI) para não permitir que toda a UGF arda num mesmo evento, com a criação de zonas com descontinuidade de combustível e de melhor gestão com o intuito de valorização do território, criando uma barreira à progressão de incêndios rurais.
The Project aims to propose a strategic intervention in the territory, according with the Rural Fires Integrated Management National Plan - PNGIFR, a plan that proposes a Strategy, a chain of processes and the implementation of Action Programs at the Regional and Sub-Regional level and Execution Programs at Municipal level, which go through gradual implementation, according to priority processes identification, and fall back on, whenever desirable and possible, to pilot projects and local programs, providing a validated and sustainable implementation. The pilot proposal was defined for the Fire Management Unit (UGFo) of the Seixe River Basin and subsequent territory sectorization into Fire Containment Subunits (SCF), through the promotion of Intervention Plots (PI) to not allow that the entire UGFo will burn in the same event. Also, with the creation of areas and better management in order to enhance the territory, creating a barriers to the progression of rural fires.
