Abstract(s)
Nos dias que correm, e com a constante evolução dos sistemas sociais e das suas
exigências pessoais, torna-se cada vez mais difícil transformar um curso de formação numa oportunidade aliciante e inovadora, por forma a concorrerem para tais mudanças.
A Guarda Nacional Republicana, sendo uma instituição centenária, com uma
idiossincrasia peculiar, moldada pela organização e disciplina, não é indiferente às mutações sociais. Assim, e face às contingências profissionais, nomeadamente escassez de oportunidades enquanto cidadãos não pertencentes a qualquer tipo de força armada ou força de segurança, cada vez mais esta instituição militar é vista como uma alternativa para um emprego estável e de prestígio.
Neste âmbito, emerge o presente relatório subordinado ao tema “ A motivação no
ingresso do Curso de Formação de Guardas na Guarda Nacional Republicana”. É um estudo
que tem como objetivo fulcral, investigar os tipos de fatores motivacionais que influenciam um cidadão, que esteja atualmente a prestar serviço militar, que tenha prestado, ou que nunca tenha tido qualquer tipo de contacto, a optar por uma formação numa instituição militar.
Para a elaboração do presente trabalho, optou-se inicialmente por efetuar um
enquadramento teórico que se prende com a problemática em estudo, seguido de uma pesquisa bibliográfica para posteriormente proceder-se à redação do estado da arte. Esta tem como finalidade elencar os vários conceitos fundamentais para a compreensão e sustentação da temática. O trabalho de campo, componente essencialmente prática, assentou na aplicação de inquéritos por questionário. A utilização deste instrumento possibilitou a recolha de dados permitindo dar respostas à questão central e suas derivadas, bem como, a verificação das hipóteses, previamente levantadas. A investigação culmina com algumas ilações e recomendações.
Abstract In the present days, with the constant evolution of the social systems and its personal demands, it’s harder to turn a training course into an attractive and innovating opportunity, in order to address such changes. The Republican National Guard, being a centenary institution, with a peculiar idiosyncrasy, molded by discipline and organization, isn’t indifferent to these social mutations. This being, and faced with the professional contingencies, namely the lack of opportunities for citizens that don’t belong to any kind of armed or security force, more than ever this military institution is seen as an alternative to a stable and prestigious job. In this theme, emerges the present report relative to “The motivation in the admission of the Guards Training Course of the Republican National Guard”, this study’s main goal is to investigate the types of motivational factors that influence citizens, that are serving in the military, that have served or that have never had contact with the military, to chose an education in a military institution. In order to finish this work, first we choose to do a theoretic contextualization of the thematic in study, after which we did a bibliographic research to write the state of art. This has the goal of presenting the various concepts that are fundamental to understand this theme. The field work, a mainly practical component, consisted in applying inquiries by questionnaires. The use of this instrument gave us the possibility to collect data in order to answer the main question and its derived questions, as well as verifying the hypothesis, previously built. The investigation culminates with some conclusions and recommendations
