Abstract(s)
No continente africano, os conflitos hoje, na sua maioria são de carater intra-estatais,
tendo contribuído para um maior protagonismo e intervenção de múltiplos atores
internacionais no âmbito da prevenção e resolução de conflitos regionais.
O presente estudo procura apresentar as opções, prioridades e possibilidades de
cooperação e ou complementaridade entre a Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa e
a União Africana, verificando as possibilidades de uma relação entre os dois atores de
forma sistematizada.
Através da análise efetuada, realçamos os contributos da União Africana no quadro
das intervenções para a resolução dos conflitos, verificando a evolução das tendências de
conflitualidade em África no horizonte 2030, permitindo definir áreas de cooperação,
sendo a cooperação bilateral com a Comunidade de Países de Língua Portuguesa uma
mais-valia para esta organização na afirmação no Continente Africano no âmbito da
promoção da Paz e Segurança e de resolução dos conflitos.
Neste contexto propusemos modelos de cooperação CPLP-UA, com as respetivas áreas de
intervenção e ações a empreender. Analisando também as oportunidades e desafios para a
República Democrática de São Tomé e Príncipe como membro da CPLP e da Comunidade
Económica dos Estados de África Central.
Sendo o estudo de natureza académica, apontámos possibilidades exequíveis, cuja
materialização depende de prioridades e disponibilidade de recursos. Abstract: In Africa, today, the conflicts, in your most are intra-State character, having
contributed to a greater role and involvement of multiple actors within the framework of
international conflict prevention and resolution.
The present study seeks to present the choices, priorities and possibilities for
cooperation and complementarity between the community of Portuguese Language
countries and the African Union, checking the possibilities of a relationship between the
two actors of a systematic way.
Through the analysis performed, enhance au contributions within the framework of
interventions for the resolution of conflicts by checking the progress of conflict trends in
Africa in 2030 horizon, allowing to define areas of cooperation, being the bilateral
cooperation with CPLP an asset for this organization in the affirmation on the African
continent within the framework of the promotion of peace and security and conflict
resolution.
In this context we have proposed models of CPL-AU cooperation with the respective
areas of intervention and actions to be undertaken. Analyzing also the opportunities and
challenges for the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe (RDSTP) as a member
of the CPLP and the CEEAC.
Being the study of academic nature, identify possibilities achievable, whose
implementation depends on priorities and availability of resources.
