Abstract(s)
O presente relatório tem como objetivo abordar o controlo oficial e a verificação técnica
que é efetuada pela ASAE, dando enfase às bebidas alcoólicas, não esquecendo também
todos os outros produtos alimentares. Relativamente às bebidas alcoólicas foi feita uma
abordagem ao vinho tinto, ao vinho espumante e ao brandy. Foram realçados os
respetivos enquadramentos legais destes produtos e quais as razões da maioria das não
conformidades registadas pela ASAE. As não conformidades observadas com maior
frequência nas bebidas alcoólicas foram: o não cumprimento dos requisitos legais,
problemas na rotulagem, o valor do título alcoométrico volúmico (TAV) no rótulo não
corresponder ao TAV real da bebida e a análise sensorial defeituosa.
São também apresentados cinco casos práticos de diversos produtos alimentares,
nomeadamente sobre vinho espumante, carne picada, salsicha fresca de peru, azeite
virgem extra e tentáculos de pota congelados.
Estes casos serviram para exemplificar o tipo de controlo que é realizado diariamente
por esta entidade, a fim de controlar os produtos que se encontram à venda no mercado
nacional.

This report aims to address the official control and the technical verification carried out by ASAE (Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica (Food and Economic Security Authority)), emphasizing alcoholic beverages, but also all the other food products. About alcoholic beverages was made an approach to red wine, sparkling wine and brandy. The legal frameworks of these products were highlighted as well as the reasons for most nonconformities recorded by ASAE. The nonconformities most frequently observed in alcoholic beverages were: the noncompliance with legal requirements, labelling problems, the value of alcohol by volume (ABV) in the label doesn’t match with the real ABV on the beverage and defective sensory analysis. There are also five practical cases of various food products, particularly about the sparkling wine, ground beef, fresh turkey sausages, extra virgin oil and frozen squid tentacles. These cases served to exemplify the type of control that is carried out daily by this entity, to control the products that are found on sale in the national market.
