Abstract(s)
Well-being plays an increasingly important role in the military context and is beneficial for workers, managers and organizations. Being organizational performance and well-being themes well investigated there are also gaps in the processes involved in their relationship. Knowing that well-being can predict performance, in the sense that, when people are more satisfied with their work, they show a higher performance, it is considered pertinent to study the various variables that can influence the well-being in the work of Air Force pilots and their relationship with individual performance. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyze the impact of well-being on work on the individual performance of air force pilots, who perform functions in their Air Units. As a method, data were collected by applying a questionnaire to a sample of 91 aviator pilots (75.2% of the universe). The results revealed that most pilots are satisfied with their work, presenting good results of well-being at work, which has a significant impact on their individual performance. With these results, it was concluded that well-being at work can influence the performance of Air Force pilots.
