Ao longo do meu percurso de formação docente, foi possível observar que grande parte das atividades de escrita eram rotineiras e fastidiosas, o que acabava por produzir nos alunos uma certa rejeição face ao ato de escrever. Desta feita, a promoção pelo gosto da escrita, bem como o desenvolvimento da criatividade nos alunos, tornou-se um desejo intrínseco no desenvolvimento deste estudo. Foi criado um plano de atividades de escrita, onde o caligrama é utilizado como uma ferramenta para gerar motivação para a escrita. Este plano foi desenvolvido numa turma do 2.º ano de escolaridade, numa escola da rede pública.
Partindo dos resultados obtidos é possível concluir que os alunos progrediram ao longo da implementação das atividades propostas. Estes demonstraram-se motivados durante a criação dos seus caligramas, revelando criatividade em cada um dos seus trabalhos, denotando-se uma melhoria significativa das suas competências de escrita. É ainda possível inferir que o recurso a atividades lúdicas, contextualizadas e significativas, que apelam à criatividade dos alunos, são fundamentais para o aumento da motivação no desenvolvimento de projetos de escrita.
Throughout my teaching training, it was possible to observe that a large part of the writing activities were routine and boring, producing in students a negative feeling towards writing/an aversion to writing. Thus, improving writing skills, as well as develop-ing creativity in students, became the purpose of this study. A writing activity plan was created and the calligram was used to encourage writing. This plan was developed in a 2nd grade class in a public school. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to conclude that students improved writing skills throughout the implementation of the proposed activities. They were moti-vated while creating their calligrams, demonstrating creativity and revealing a significant improvement in their writing skills. It is also possible to conclude that playful, contextualized, meaningful and creative learning activities are essential to encourage students for writing projects.
