Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de investigação académica procura
empregar os instrumentos de diferentes disciplinas do Design e
explorar a cultura visual, de forma a criar uma campanha de
comunicação que se traduza num verdadeiro impacto positivo
para a comunidade.
O design e a comunicação visual, enquanto processos
de descoberta e veículos de informação e empoderamento, são
fundamentais para o progresso e democratização da saúde
individual e da sociedade enquanto um todo. Em função disso,
o presente projeto, enquadrado no Mestrado de Design e
Cultura Visual, apresenta a campanha de comunicação
Endohope. Esta campanha foi desenvolvida com a finalidade de
colmatar a falta de informação pública e da comunidade
médica sobre a doença Endometriose e criar uma solução que
sirva aos doentes, círculos de apoio, comunidade médica e
sociedade em geral, de forma a melhorar a qualidade de vida,
o diagnóstico e o seu processo.
This academic research project aims to employ the tools from a range of design disciplines and explore visual culture, to craft a communication campaign that translates in a tangible positive impact to the community. Design and visual communication, as discovery processes, as well as empowerment and discovery vehicles, are fundamental to the progress and democratization of individual health and to society as a whole. Considering that, this project, under the Design and Visual Culture Master’s program, presents the communication campaign Endohope. The lack of open access information about Endometriosis to the public and the medical community guide this campaign’s purpose to design a solution that efficiently serves the patients, support systems, medical community and society in general, to improve their quality of life, diagnosis and process.
