Abstract(s)
As pessoas que têm a ausência de seus membros superiores, durante a prática de diferentes atividades diárias, necessitam de apoio para realizar suas atividades de forma independente, pois não possuem as mesmas características físicas e de capacidade que outras pessoas. Assim, este projeto intervém através da aplicação de um design inclusivo para ajudar crianças com esta caraterística física através da criação de um produto que possa ser implementado em sua rotina e que contribua positivamente para melhorar sua qualidade de vida e permitir que se sintam mais confortáveis no desempenho de determinadas funções, com um sistema de apoio que facilita a realização de determinadas práticas durante suas atividades diárias. Desta forma, o presente trabalho envolve o desenvolvimento de uma cadeira que atenda a uma necessidade específica que estas pessoas apresentam, e que permita a estes usuários um desenvolvimento mais autônomo de suas atividades diárias gerando integridade e inclusão dentro de seu espaço habitual, tudo isso considerando o projeto de forma interativa com base em estudos posteriores realizados, e com o apoio de levantamentos bibliográficos, pesquisas exploratórias, visitas especializadas e várias entrevistas com possíveis usuários e profissionais da área. E proposto desenvolver alternativas e modelos que, com base em testes, consigam lidar com problemas reais e que permitam melhor acessibilidade aos usuários e obter como resultado uma proposta que ofereça tecnologia, inovação, versatilidade, segurança, leveza e conforto, satisfazendo as necessidades e melhorando o livre desenvolvimento do público alvo.
People who are missing their upper limbs when carrying out different daily activities need support to carry out their activities independently, as they don't have the same physical characteristics and abilities as other people. Therefore, this project intervenes by applying inclusive design to help children with this physical characteristic by creating a product that can be implemented in their routine and that contributes positively to improving their quality of life and allowing them to feel more comfortable performing certain functions, with a support system that makes it easier for them to carry out certain practices during their daily activities. Thus, this work involves the development of a chair that meets a specific need that these people have, and that allows these users to develop their daily activities more autonomously, generating integrity and inclusion within their usual space, all while considering the project in an interactive way based on subsequent studies carried out, and with the support of bibliographic surveys, exploratory research, specialized visits and various interviews with potential users and professionals in the field. It is proposed to develop alternatives and models that, based on tests, can deal with real problems and allow better accessibility for users, resulting in a proposal that offers technology, innovation, versatility, safety, lightness and comfort, satisfying the needs and improving the free development of the target audience.
