Abstract(s)
O presente Relatório do Projeto de Investigação do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar centra-se na temática da relação da Creche e Jardim-de-infância com as Famílias, destacando, entre outros, a diversidade de conceitos e tipologias que enquadram essa relação.
Assente no paradigma de investigação qualitativa e na Investigação-Ação, pretende-se compreender a diversidade de práticas de participação das famílias, tanto do ponto de vista teórico como nos contextos empíricos do estudo, nomeadamente, através de técnicas como a observação participante, de inquérito por questionário às educadoras e da análise de vários documentos, e ainda encontrar respostas adequadas no sentido da melhoria dessas práticas.
No decorrer deste estudo procurou-se compreender de que forma as educadoras cooperantes promoviam a participação das famílias nos dois contextos e as suas conceções sobre o tema.
Através deste estudo, é possível concluir que a relação entre as famílias e os contextos educativos, é valorizada pelas educadoras, no entanto está mais relacionada ao nível de envolvimento e colaboração do que na participação e na tomada de decisões.
This Research Project Report of the Master on Pre-School Education focuses on the theme of the relationship of the Nursery and the Kindergarden with families, highlighting, among others, the diversity of concepts and types that can be framed into this relationship. Based on interpretative paradigm, the qualitative approach and Research-Action, the study aims to understand the diversity of families to participate practices, both from a theoretical point of view as well as from the empirical study contexts and still find adequate responses towards improving these practices. During this study sought to understand how the cooperating teachers promoted the participation of families in both contexts stage in Nursery and Kindergarten and their conceptions on the subject. In terms of data gathering procedures, techniques were used as participant observation, questionnaire survey to educators and analysis of various documents. Through this study, we conclude that the relationship between families and educational settings, is valued by educators, but is more related to the levels of engagement and collaboration than in participation and decision-making.
