| dc.description.abstract | Diariamente os militares da Força Aérea realizam movimentos pendulares de modo a movimentarem-se entre a sua residência e o seu local de trabalho e no percurso inverso. Mas a que custo? Este estudo, analisa os movimentos pendulares dos militares da Força Aérea e a sua relação com a motivação, produtividade e comprometimento. Na base deste trabalho de investigação esteve a elaboração dum questionário que se traduziu numa amostra de 790 militares, do universo de militares dos Quadros Permanentes e Regime de Contrato/Regime de Voluntariado, no ativo ou na situação de reserva na efetividade de serviço. Dos resultados obtidos, concluiu-se que o absentismo aumenta com a distância percorrida e com o tempo gasto em viagem, e diminui consoante melhoram as condições do percurso e o sentimento face a essas condições. O estudo indicia que as condições do percurso têm um efeito positivo na motivação intrínseca e motivação resultante da identificação com o trabalho, e que a motivação externa é influenciada pela distância percorrida e tempo gasto em viagem. Por fim, retiram-se indícios de que as más condições do percurso têm um efeito negativo no compromisso afetivo e que, tanto o compromisso afetivo como o normativo são negativamente influenciados pela distância percorrida. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Every day, the Portuguese Air Force military carries out commuting movements in order to move between their residence and their place of work and the other way around. But at what cost? This study, analyzes the commuting of the Portuguese Air Force military and its relationship with motivation, productivity and commitment. The instrument of this research was a questionnaire that resulted into a respondents sample of 790 military personnel, from the universe of career and contract military, in active duty or effectiveness of service reserve. From the results obtained, it was concluded that absenteeism increases with the distance traveled and the time spent in travel, and decreases as the conditions of the route and the feeling of these conditions improve. The study indicates that the conditions of the route have a positive effect on the intrinsic motivation and motivation resulting from the identification with the work, and that the external motivation is influenced by the distance traveled and the time spent traveling. Indications are drawn that the bad conditions of the route have a negative effect on the affective commitment and that both affective and normative commitment are negatively influenced by the distance traveled. | pt_PT |
