O setor hoteleiro é altamente competitivo e é fundamental para as empresas do ramo encontrarem maneiras de melhorar a qualidade dos seus serviços e maximizar os lucros. Para atingir este objetivo é essencial que os hotéis ofereçam quartos de alta qualidade a preços competitivos, de forma a melhorar a experiência dos hóspedes e obter a máxima rentabilidade possível.
No presente relatório de estágio, é explorada a relação entre a qualidade dos quartos de hotel e respetivos preços numa perspetiva de revenue management. Através das revisões da literatura narrativa e PRISMA, a par da observação participante durante a realização do estágio, é desenvolvida uma matriz com os atributos que conferem qualidade aos quartos de hotel, que permite a avaliação quantitativa da qualidade dos quartos e respetiva segmentação. Como proposta de valor é apresentada a criação de tipologias de quartos de acordo a qualidade, possibilitando melhores estratégias de pricing aos My Story Hotels.
