Este projeto centra-se na realização de uma cantata original, composta
pelo presente autor denominada “À procura das Índias”, cantada e tocada pelas
crianças com uma orquestra de guitarras e cavaquinhos e contando também
com a participação de músicos profissionais no piano e bateria.
O projeto educativo desenvolveu-se no colégio Guadalupe, situado no
Seixal, e foi realizado numa turma de 2º ciclo, 5º ano de escolaridade, onde foi
possível desenvolver, ao longo de treze sessões, uma série de aprendizagens
que culminaram numa gravação final em vídeo da cantata. Este projeto contou
com uma forte característica interdisciplinar, abordando várias áreas do saber,
tais como Música, Teatro, Dança, História de Portugal, Geografia e Língua
Portuguesa.
Este estudo, incluiu uma investigação sobre as aprendizagens musicais,
culturais e sociais desenvolvidas pelas crianças quando colaboram com
músicos profissionais. Foram observadas aprendizagens musicais ao nível do
domínio técnico, qualidade de som, afinação, teoria musical entre outras. Ao
nível social identificaram-se alterações em termos de motivação (intrínseca e
extrínseca), empenho e responsabilidade, perceção de si e do outro, trabalho
de grupo e aprendizagens entrepares. Foram ainda percecionadas
aprendizagens culturais relacionadas com o contexto histórico trabalhado.
This Project focuses on the production of an original cantata compose by the present author and called “À procura das Índias”, sang and played by children with a guitar and cavaquinho orchestra and also with the participation of professional musicians on piano and drums. The education project took development on Guadalupe college placed in Seixal, and it was done by a 2nd cycle, 5th year of education, where it was possible to develop, during thirteen sessions, multiple learning areas that culminated in a final video record of the cantata. This project had a strong interdisciplinary source, within the various areas of knowledge worked during the thirteen sessions, such as Music, Theater, Dance, Portugal History, Geography and Portuguese Language. This study, included an investigation related to musical, social and cultural learning being improved by children when collaborating with professional musicians. Music learning were observed in the technical field level, sound quality, tuning, music theory among others. On social learning level were identified changes in motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic), effort and responsibility, self and join perception, group and peer work. It were still identified cultural learning related to historical factors.
