Abstract(s)
relações amorosas no digital merece atenção e pesquisa.
relações amorosas no ambiente virtual.
In a world where social relationships are increasingly influenced by technology and defined within the context of virtual communities on networks, the development of romantic relationships in the digital realm warrants attention and research. This study aims to explore the interactions occurring in online dating applications. Employing netnography in dating apps as the methodological foundation, the research seeks to articulate concepts from renowned authors in the field of social communication studies with data found in these apps, in order to generate a debate about the social dynamics present in online dating applications, specifically Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Feeld. The results indicate an inherent duality in exploring the digital environment and users' relationship with it: on one hand, the apps can offer greater connectivity among users; on the other, they can fall into pre-existing common sense, encouraging the superficial consumption of romantic relationships in the virtual setting.
