dc.description.abstractNowadays, the achievement of the organizational goals, the increase of the employees’ commitment, and the reduction in turnover represent challenges for the large organizations that operate in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors. Implement aggressive methodologies enhance the results may work achieve the goals, but it tends to decrease the commitment of the employees, resulting in leaving the organization. Defining indicators to monitor the activities of the employees and keep them motivated with initiatives that get them committed to the organization and engaged in their work is the first step. For this reason, it is defined the Employee Commitment Gamified Framework, where it is defined a Gamification initiative and a set of indicators that can be translated into the organization’s goals. Since a Gamification initiative is based on incentives, it is expected that can have a positive effect on the affective, continuance, and normative commitment from the employees' side. This research intends to understand if the commitment of the employees influences the achievement of the organization’s goals. To address this, it is performed a commitment assessment through a questionnaire (before and after the Gamification initiative) and this data is used as an input for a statistical analysis, where it is performed a set of validations through T-tests, ANOVA One Way, and Post-hoc Tukey HSD. In the end, it is compared the conclusions with the organization’s goals achievement, being also related to engagement of the employees for three years.pt_PT
