Abstract(s)
O presente relatório, intitulado “Conflitos na Sala…E agora? - Gerir Conflitos na
Creche e Jardim de Infância”, tem como principal objetivo compreender o papel do
Educador na gestão dos conflitos. Tendo este tema surgido de um constrangimento,
com este trabalho pretendo descomplicar os conflitos, mostrando que fazem parte do
desenvolvimento social das crianças e que servem como uma aprendizagem para as
mesmas.
No que diz respeito à metodologia, este projeto foi desenvolvido tendo como
primeira referência a abordagem qualitativa, seguindo a metodologia da investigação ação. Relativamente aos procedimentos de recolha e análise de informação, foram
utilizados, a observação, as notas de campo, as conversas informais e reflexões
cooperadas, registos multimédia, a análise documental, o inquérito por questionário e
a análise de conteúdo.
As intervenções apresentadas e analisadas neste projeto de investigação são de
carácter: espontâneas e planificadas, tendo sido escolhidas pela sua pertinência. Ao
analisá-las, é possível compreender que os conflitos surgem naturalmente durante as
interações sociais e que o Papel do Educador de Infância, na Creche e no Jardim de
Infância na Gestão de Conflitos deve ser observar e escutar atentamente, dar espaço e
tempo para que as crianças resolvam autonomamente os seus conflitos, apoiar e
promover valores e atitudes ao grupo.
This report, entitled “Conflicts in the Room…Now What? - Managing Conflicts in Day Care and Kindergarten", has as main objective to understand the role of the Educator in the management of conflicts. Since this theme emerged from a constraint, with this work I intend to uncomplicate conflicts, showing that they are part of the social development of children and that they serve as a learning experience for them. With regard to methodology, this project was developed having as a first reference the qualitative approach, following the methodology of action research. Regarding the procedures for collecting and analyzing information, observation, field notes, informal conversations and cooperative reflections, multimedia records, document analysis, questionnaire survey and content analysis were used. The interventions presented and analyzed in this research project are spontaneous and planned, having been chosen for their relevance. By analyzing them, it is possible to understand that conflicts arise naturally during social interactions and that the Role of the Kindergarten Educator, in Day Care and Kindergarten in Conflict Management, must be to observe and listen carefully, to give space and time for children to autonomously resolve their conflicts, support and promote values and attitudes to the group.
