| dc.description.abstract | Neste artigo, dando seguimento a outros relacionados com o campo alargado de pesquisa de um projecto de investigação em curso, sobre as referências picturais nas imagens fotográficas e cinematográficas, pretendemos dar mais um pequeno acrescento para a discussão das relações entre Pintura e Cinema. O cinema, que foi sem dúvida uma arte marcante do século XX, se não a mais, exerceu um inegável impacto e fascínio sobre todas as outras manifestações artísticas, nomeadamente a pintura. Contudo, a sua história é muito mais recente, em comparação com a da pintura e, naturalmente, o cinema esteve sujeito a influências, tal como acontece ainda hoje, pode-se afirmar. Após uma breve introdução geral, centramos a nossa atenção na influência da pintura no cinema ao nível do ‘repertório de temas’ – nomeadamente, o(s) mistério(s) da criação artística e os biopics de pintores, a pintura de ‘história’ e o recurso à referência a pinturas concretas pré-existentes, que o cinema reutiliza nomeadamente através da inclusão de tableaux-vivants – e das maneiras de compor enquadramentos, a principal relação com a pintura segundo o entendimento de Pascal Bonitzer e o nosso. De resto, nas últimas décadas sucederam- se muitas realizações que têm procurado equacionar a importância e a extensão das influências (e contaminações) mútuas entre o Cinema e as outras artes, que são reflexo do interesse crescente despertado pela discussão deste tema. In this article, following others related with the extended field of an ongoing research project, about pictorial references in cinematographic and photographic images, we want to provide an addition to the discussion about the relations between Painting and Cinema. Cinema was, without doubt, a remarkable art of the 20th century, if not the most remarkable; and has had an undeniable impact and fascination over all other artistic manifestations, namely painting. However, its history is much more recent, compared to the history of painting and, naturally, cinema was subject to influences, as happens still today, one can affirm. After a brief general introduction, we focus our attention to the painting’s influence on cinema in terms of the ‘themes repertoire’ level – namely, the mystery(ies) of artistic creation and the biopics of painters, ‘history painting’ and the practical expedient of the reference to pre-existing specific paintings, that cinema reuse, namely throughout the inclusion of tableaux-vivants – and the ways of compose frameworks, the principal relationship with painting according to Pascal Bonitzer, and our understanding. Besides, in recent decades many achievements have followed that have attempted to equate the relevance, and the extension, of the mutual influences (and contaminations) between Cinema and the other arts, which reflect the increased interest aroused by discussion on this theme. | pt_PT |
