Abstract(s)
operacional.
This study analyses the factors that influence the efficiency of the turnaround process of a TAP Air Portugal A320 at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon, with the aim of identifying operational challenges and optimization strategies. To this end, semi-structured interviews were carried out with professionals directly involved in the process, considering the impact of variables such as airport infrastructure, coordination between teams, technological implementation and management of the minimum turnaround time. The research shows that infrastructure restrictions, miscommunication between teams and a lack of resources from service providers are the main factors that jeopardize turnaround efficiency. In addition, the study suggests that the implementation of new technologies, both in operational planning and in the modernization of Humberto Delgado Airport, can make a significant contribution to reducing irregularities during the process. The conclusions reinforce the need for strategic investments and integrated management of airport operations, aligning the practices of TAP Air Portugal and Humberto Delgado Airport with international standards of operational efficiency.
