Abstract(s)

Based on a partnership between the Municipal Library of Setúbal and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, to commemorate the World Science Day for Peace and Development, a set of practical activities are presented and dis- cussed, centred on teaching and learning about plant biodiversity and implemented by future teachers in the context of initial training. The activities took place in dif- ferent spaces of the Library with children from the 1st cycle of basic education and allowed the articulation between formal and non-formal education.
