Abstract(s)
Face ao estado atual do planeta Terra, marcado pelas atitudes e comportamentos
inconscientes por parte das atividades humanos, torna-se cada vez mais urgente promover
a mudança, através de práticas sustentáveis que contribuam para a preservação do meio
ambiente. É crucial informar e sensibilizar as gerações mais jovens acerca da importância
desta temática tão presente nos dias de hoje, uma vez que permite desenvolver a
consciência da necessidade de proteger o planeta. Existe pequenos comportamentos
essenciais que fomentam atitudes e comportamentos responsáveis como a redução do
consumo, o reaproveitamento e a reciclagem dos diferentes materiais e que tem um
grande impacto na sustentabilidade ambiental do planeta. Os professores desempenham
um papel essencial para formar cidadãos informados e conscientes sobre estas práticas
que preservam os recursos naturais.
O presente estudo teve como principal foco os jogos digitais e temáticas específicas
no âmbito da literacia ambiental e como objetivos: Compreender de que forma a criação
de jogos digitais poderá promover a literacia ambiental numa turma do 4.º ano; explorar
as potencialidades dos jogos digitais.; compreender o impacto dos jogos digitais na
motivação, aprendizagem e comportamento dos alunos. A questão de investigação é a
seguinte: “Quais as potencialidades da criação de jogos digitais na promoção da literacia
ambiental?”.
Na realização do estudo recorri a uma investigação de natureza qualitativa, que
envolveu a análise e reflexão dos dados obtidos durante a prática. A recolha de dados foi
realizada através da observação participante, as notas de campo, inquérito por
questionário e entrevista, análise das produções dos alunos.
Através dos resultados obtidos a partir das atividades propostas foi possível concluir
que os alunos adquiriram conhecimentos e competências através de jogos digitais
relativamente à temática em estudo.
Given the current state of planet Earth, marked by unconscious attitudes and behavior on the part of human activities, it is becoming increasingly urgent to promote change through sustainable practices that contribute to preserving the environment. It is crucial to inform and sensitize the younger generations to the importance of this issue, which is so present today, as it helps to develop awareness of the need to protect the planet. There are small essential behaviors that foster responsible attitudes and behaviors such as reducing consumption, reusing and recycling different materials and that have a big impact on the environmental sustainability of the planet. Teachers play an essential role in educating citizens who are informed and aware of these practices that preserve natural resources. The focus of this study was digital games and specific themes in the field of environmental literacy. The objectives were: to understand how the creation of digital games can promote environmental literacy in a 4th grade class; to explore the potential of digital games; to understand the impact of digital games on students' motivation, learning and behavior. The research question is as follows: “What is the potential of creating digital games to promote environmental literacy?”. In carrying out the study, I used qualitative research, which involved analyzing and reflecting on the data obtained during practice. Data was collected through participant observation, field notes, questionnaire surveys and interviews, and analysis of the students' work. Through the results obtained from the proposed activities, it was possible to conclude that the students acquired knowledge and skills through digital games in relation to the subject under study.
