O presente artigo demonstrou que os modelos gestionários que o Estado utiliza para gerir
a Administração Pública, sobretudo o New Public Management, impactaram fortemente na
privatização dos serviços por si assegurados, da qual a segurança privada não fugiu a regra,
cuja atividade se foi incrementando e expandindo, tornando-se uma atividade dinâmica,
diversa e que se está a complexificar, perfilando-se como um desígnio de interesse para a
segurança, cada vez com mais autonomia e independência nas suas atividades, o que é
vantajoso para a segurança de todos.
This article has shown that the management models used by the State to manage the Public Administration, especially the New Public Management, have had a strong impact on the privatization of the services it provides, of which private security has not escaped the rule, whose activity has been increasing and expanding, becoming a dynamic, diverse and complex activity, profiling itself as a design of interest for security, with more and more autonomy and independence in its activities, which is advantageous for the security of all.
