Abstract(s)
This project report was proposed within the scope of the Internship Project Dissertation course, included in the master's degree in production engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. Having been developed, in partnership, with Installation of Banática, an Oil and Gas storage facility, belonging to Repsol Gus Portugal. With the aim of improving operational efficiency and the impact of legal maintenance intervention (Requalification), to be carried out in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage sphere, Butane, with a useful capacity of 500 Ton, henceforth designated as Sphere 3. An operational procedure was developed, applied to the management of this type of projects, where it was possible to cover all the activities necessary to carry out the same. Applying a check-list verification methodology, in each of the defined phases, the procedure will go into detail of all activities to be carried out during maintenance and inspection interventions of an LPG sphere, eliminating the fact that the current internal procedure for the maintenance management of LPG assets, does not contain the intended detail. The procedure obtained allowed greater documentary and operational control of all phases of the project, as well as greater optimization and security of the entire execution, contributing to the formulation of a procedure that can be exported to all Repsol LPG storage and distribution facilities, benefiting the safety of the operation, people, and the conservation of its assets.
