O Serviço Cívico de Moçambique tem um forte papel para a geração de recursos e
construção do tecido social moçambicano com maior enfoque na preparação dos jovens,
capacitando-os para adquirir competências em áreas como a produção agro-pecuária e a
preparação combativa.
Assim, esta investigação teve por objetivo propor contributos para um modelo de
sustentabilidade das Forças Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique, através dos recursos
gerados pelo Serviço Cívico de Moçambique.
Nesse sentido, com base num modelo de raciocínio dedutivo, suportado numa
estratégia de investigação qualitativa e num desenho de estudo de caso, procedeu-se à
revisão de literatura, complementada com partes da experiência do serviço cívico da
República Unida da Tanzânia designado Jeshi La Kujenga Taifada e a realização de
entrevistas a entidades com profundo conhecimento e experiência neste âmbito.
Para a dedução de uma estratégia, elaborou-se uma análise SWOT para sistematizar
os pontos fortes e fracos, oportunidades e ameaças associadas ao presente estudo.
Em resultado da investigação, concluiu-se que os recursos gerados pelo Serviço
Cívico de Moçambique podem ser, de facto, uma fonte de sustentabilidade das Forças
Armadas de Defesa de Moçambique através de um modelo integrado, sem prejuízo da sua
natureza e das especificidades de cada uma das entidades.
The Civic Service of Mozambique plays a strong role in generating resources and building the Mozambican social fabric with a greater focus on preparing young people, enabling them to acquire skills in areas such as agricultural production and combat preparation. Thus, this research aimed to propose contributions to a sustainability model for the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique, through resources generated by the Civic Service of Mozambique. In this sense, based on a deductive reasoning model, supported by a qualitative research strategy and a case study design, a literature review was carried out, complemented with parts of the experience of the civic service of the United Republic of Tanzania called Jeshi La Kujenga Taifada and the carrying out of interviews with entities with deep knowledge and experience in this context. To deduce a strategy, a SWOT analysis was prepared to systematize the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats associated with the present study. As a result of the investigation, it was concluded that the resources generated by the Mozambique Civic Service can, in fact, be a source of sustainability for the Mozambique Armed Defense Forces through an integrated model, without prejudice to their nature and the specificities of each of the entities.
