materno no puerpério.
This report describes the journey developed across all internship contexts that enabled the acquisition of Common Competencies, Specific Competencies of the Specialist Nurse in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing (EEESMO), and Competencies for the attainment of a Master’s Degree, anchored in Imogene King’s Goal Attainment Theory. According to the WHO and UNICEF (2018), breastfeeding is recommended from birth until the baby’s first six months of life and as a complement to the child’s diet until age two or beyond. Recognizing the fundamental importance of supporting breastfeeding and postpartum women who breastfeed, digital technologies emerge as a valuable resource by facilitating interaction between postpartum women and specialized healthcare professionals. A qualitative, descriptive, and exploratory study was conducted with the aim of analyzing postpartum women's perceptions regarding the contribution of digital technologies in supporting breastfeeding during the postpartum period. In the initial phase, a Scoping Review (SR) was conducted following the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), aiming to map the literature that highlights the contribution of digital technologies in supporting breastfeeding among postpartum women. Six semi-structured interviews were then conducted and analyzed using Bardin’s (2022) content analysis method, in order to gather participants’ perceptions of their subjective experiences in using digital technologies to support breastfeeding. The results highlight that digital technologies can be an effective tool in supporting postpartum women during breastfeeding, facilitating interaction between postpartum women and EEESMO. The contribution of EEESMO as a mediator of the information transmitted through digital technologies was emphasized, ensuring the provision of care aligned with the postpartum women's objectives. An innovative aspect identified in comparison to the primary study was the recognition of specific themes in which digital technology is particularly relevant.
